The Ariix Awards ceremony was celebrated through a virtual event hosted in three countries simultaneously in Ireland, Italy and France, broadcasting live to 6,500 attendees through an online video stream based out of the VisualX studios in Dublin.

The evening unwrapped a schedule of dance performances with supporting LED content, broadcast graphics packages including 2D overlays, Augmented reality awards pins, digital frames showcasing winning participants as well as interviews with speakers and representatives throughout the night.

The large-scale production involved live graphics, AR and MR realisations in real-time, motion graphic content, synchronised visuals and on-site video composites which could be released online to social media outlets.

The event was a huge success with the live-stream reaching over 130,000 viewers in 24 hours. The hybrid ceremony showcased the new direction our industry took to ensure events of this calibre could still take place during the pandemic.
